Early in our photo contest we knew you loved your Pets+Cars.
Our Facebook page still was abuzz on Friday, about 10,000 people had visited our original blog post and more than 200 had submitted Pets+Cars – which included two monkeys, a rooster and a horse.
The top vote-getters so far were Ruby (dog), Charly (dog) and Luna (cat), all of which had more than 100. But the contest runs through mid-July*, so there’s still a lot of time for you to enter a photo of your pet. And we are not limiting the number of photos you submit, so enter all of your pets.
You (and your friends and family) also can help pick the top Pets+Cars photos by voting for your favorites, whether or not you post a photo, by simply following this Pets+Cars link and scrolling below the contest entry form. Winners will be announced July 20 with prizes valued at no more than $600 each awarded to the three photos receiving the highest number of votes.
To inspire and motivate you, we put together some of the contest entries here, in no particular order, but you also can see all the entries and real-time vote totals for yourself at the contest Web page.
Now that we’ve revved up your engine, get out the car and your smartphone and say hello, kitty (or pup or parakeet or pot-bellied pig, etc.) to take your shot at pet perfection.
